You're divorced... NOW WHAT?

It’s official…you’re divorced. What now? Here are some steps you can take to start moving forward after the loss of a marriage.

  • Practice seeing your experience as a strength…going through something hard and learning to carry on gives you the skills you need when other difficult situations arise

  • Learn from others: experts, professionals, or those that are living happy and fulfilling lives post-divorce. Remember: if they can do it, you can do it too!!!

  • Look for opportunities in adversity...clouds really do have silver linings.

  • Do what makes you happy…self-care is your responsibility. Do you love to read? Do you play a sport or cook? Is art your "thing"...or gardening?

  • Don’t be afraid to get help. You're not alone.
